SRR 2012 Winter Cook-Off: Stew
Our next Cook-off will be... STEW! You can make any kind of stew you can dream of. Chicken, beef, vegetable, potato...it's all good. Mild or spicy, it will be eaten. The contest will be on Thursday, March 1st at Casey's after the run. If you're interested in either entering or judging, please contact Scott Abrams to enter the contest. It's open to all members.
And we need judges as well, so if you'd like to participate without having to do any prep-work, you can judge, but you need to be able to eat pretty much everything. Cooks, your stews needs to be ready to eat no later than 7:30pm so judges can get done with their work before the runners come back. You will need to bring in your prized dish with a label including 1. a title of your creation and 2. youre ingredient list. (No name please!) You will also need to bring serving utensils. Every cook will be provided with a random number to use for identifying. Please contact Scott with any questions.
