Khoury's "Thursday Night 4.13 Miler"

Not even Seinfeld could keep them home...!

Another exciting evening in Somerville.

Despite the conflict with Seinfeld's last horrah and a dart tournament (no injuries either-I think the Khoury's team won too!) they just keep coming . Some more new faces and even 2 new members! I'm pleased to announce that our 1st and 5th place finishers are now official SRR's.

Thanks to Una McKeever and Tom Hagerty for helping out with the times. Thanks, also, to Tom for suggesting and supplying (although I think he stole this idea from another famous weekly run) the popsicle stick method-no missing names this week! Thanks to Domenick D'Amico for the donation of the stop watch, too.

DISCLAIMER: Rumor has it the timing of the start was such that most got caught for 20 seconds at the "famous" McG-O'B lights, that's why some of the times are slower than expected. There was a suggestion that maybe the club should spring for some walkie-talkies and place someone at the lights to signal when they change so that we can start the race accordingly. Any opinions? I think it just adds to the challenge!

That's all for now, see you again next weeks.
