Seventy-nine runners, the biggest crowd in, well I'm not old enough to know how long, graced Khoury's State Spa for the 2nd To The Last Khoury's of the Millenium. My race results actually say that eighty finished, but I think I lost someone somewhere. If you don't see yourself, speak up.
Russ Spangler and Jim Garcia posted phenomenal times, in fact they are by far the fastest times for the Khourys course ever. At first it was thought that they also invadvertantly took phenomenal short cuts. Oh well, you have to admit it can be a little tricky at night, most especially for all the newcomers. But upon later review, it was determined that yes indeed they took shortcuts. No, just kidding, it looks like the times are genuine. Wow.
It was good to see the pride of SRR, Dermot Fitzpatrick, back in action again. Actually all I ever saw of him was his backside, and only real early in the race. Erin Brown also made a rare appearance. Ah, just like old times..
