Mr. Cool Running himself, Dave Camire, graced Khourys-at-Caseys last night. But a quick and, um, "accidental" elbow to the gut at the first McGrath crossing was enough to dispatch him without too much trouble, leaving only Cipriano to battle it out with Evans for the title, where old age and treachery won out over youth and beauty.
Small crowd tonight, a large percentage of whom (elbows to the gut notwithstanding) got lost out on the course. This is probably due to the fact that most of those candy-ass marathon casualties from last week elected to stay dry at home. Can anyone say, "tissue paper"? I knew you could.
Tune in next week, when another woman muscles in on Karin's fire hydrant, and watch the ensuing mayhem.
