Minutes for March 8, 1999 meeting

The March 8 meeting of the Somerville Road Runners was called to order by Dan Solomon. Dan read a description of the duties of each office up for grabs, which were President, Vice-President, Public Relations/Race Director, Treasurer, Secretary/Clerk, and Membership Coordinator.

Nominations were opened and six people, Thomas Hagerty, Peter Brook, Larry Horlick, Jennifer Jordan, Domenick D'Amico, and John Evans were nominated for the five director positions. When voting on the nominations, it was decided that rather than utterly crushing the feelings of the poor soul destined for odd man out, all six nominees would be elected. As there are six officer positions, this worked out well.

Following this, the new board members volunteered for the following positions:

• President: Thomas Hagerty
• Vice President: Peter Brook
• Treasurer: Larry Horlick
• Public Relations/Race Coordinator: Jennifer Jordan
• Secretary/Clerk: John Evans
• Membership Coordinator: Domenick D'Amico
