The May 3 meeting of SRR was called to order
by Tom Hagerty at 7:30pm, Khoury's (where else?).
16 members present.
Business discussed included:
-
May Monthly
NewsletterUpdate: Jennifer
Jordan to work on it. Should it
have a list of races for SRR to
concentrate on? Steve Burton
to write a monthly column
on training. USATF races to
be included. Clothing, web
page, etc. Also, call for
volunteers for Summer Steamer.
-
Updated Membership List:
It's out. Dump the membership
list on the web site.
-
Membership Dues Reminder:
Domenic to send out reminders for
people who are due up until June.
-
Lake Winnipasaukee Relay:
Moved up a week. Who's in charge?
Peter Brook maybe to do a flyer.
-
Clothing update:
Submissions for possible changes
to the logo due at the next
meeting. Vote on any said changes
to take place at July meeting.
-
New Membership Welcome
Letter: Done. Also, a coupon
for new members getting pens.
-
Member Race Results: Now
that I have the new membership
list, I can crank on them.
Expect results on the web
shortly. If anyone sees that
they didn't get mentioned in
a race they ran, they should contact
me
-
Phone Tree: Need to
resurrect this to get people
informed as to what's going on.
Volunteers needed.
-
1999 Summer Steamer: The
permit is in, funding is set.
The bridge "is supposed to
be done". Apparently this line
has been heard before.
-
Khoury's 20K: May 13 is
the day. Trophies??
-
Teams for next USATF race:
Teams are shaping up. Call for
this to be added to monthly flyer?
-
Co-Ventures Update:
Volunteers needed. This is for
the Corporate Challenge and the
Tufts Women's 10K.
-
Dee Zucarro Fuhgeddaboutit
Race: We would like to
have an SRR table there, May 16.
Some more volunteers needed. We
always need more volunteers.
-
Website: Ryan Reed to
be contacted. The Marquee is
coming down! WOO!
-
Changing the meeting time:
Seemed like a popular idea on
the email list, but not at the
meeting. Too many difficulties
in running a controlled meeting
on Monday nights as it is,
having it Thursday nights after
Khourys would be very difficult.
Consensus is to keep it where
it is.
