• An Ras Mor: The numbers are up from last year so far. Looking for volunteers. Paul Clark is going to talk to the track coach from Somerville to see if he can get some volunteers.
• Summer Steamer: Now on "Sign Me Up". July 10th is the date. Looking for volunteers. Please contact Ray Charbonneau; 781-391-2130. The IT band will be playing. The directors are trying to get the Little Flower School more involved and do a kids race.
• 24 Hour: Post-meeting update: As of February 15, the Town of Wakefield has approved the July 29-30 dates.

2) Race Of The Month

• May 8 — M.O.M.'s run in Somerville.
• June — there will be a poll sent out by President Kathy Hynes.

3) Special K Proposal
Fred Bowen — proposed a staggered start based on anticipated finishing time.
Jim Sullivan — proposed some diabolical plan to reward runners based on their years racing. He will coordinate the race and advertise it as a Special K.

4) Advertising in Newsletter
Deadline for March/April addition is February 15. The ad space is almost all sold. Articles are still needed. Contact Jason Roberts.

5) Membership Cards
Kathy Hynes bought a laminator. Cards will be laminated, and printed without the year on them.

6) Boston Marathon extras
Discussion whether we would share Mystic River Runners bus or get our own. Steve Pepe has done some research and it would cost 455.00 dollars to rent bus/driver. We will discuss with Mystic River Runners before we decide to rent our own.
Bill Extraordinaire Bryant will coordinate the water stop this year during on Marathon day.
We have approved renting hotel rooms for SRR members running the Boston Marathon to shower and collapse in. $234 per room for 2 rooms.

7) Club Elections
The annual SRR Board of Directors election will be held at on Monday, March 7th. All five Board positions are open for election each year. Once the Board is elected, those five members then meet to select "from their number" the President, Secretary and Treasurer; and to appoint a Vice President and any other officer that may be required to conduct club business.
