The challenge was met and 5 Open runners placed (actually 6 did) before the first Masters runners so it was truly an Open team in scoring. Congrats to Alex Filides for a great race, Jimmy Normile for setting a huge PR, Bob Ross for running a great race, and Steve Martin and Jim Sullivan for running hurt. The Open team scored 11th out of 23 teams. the Masters Men also did well, scoring 9th out of 15 teams. We scored a Seniors team this time around, coming in 8th out of 14 teams. thanks to Jostein Pedersen, Jorge Espada, Frankie Keane (also was 6th in the 60-69 division!) and Domenic D'aveta for showing up and putting together the team.
And last but not least, our Women's Open team was outstanding, scoring 6th out of 22 teams. Running against some of the best New England has to offer these women did a terrific job. And not just the 3 who scored, but the entire team ran well, what a great turnout... special kudos to Claire Ryan who took almost 2 minutes off her last years time on this course and was 12th woman overall and 6th in her age division. Also great job by Nancy Doherty who was 18th woman overall and 7th in her age division. Tamara Toselli rounded out our scoring woman with a 15th place finish in her age division. Again, congrats to ALL of the women who ran Sunday.
