Below are events/opportunities that we encourage YOU, as an SRR member, to volunteer for. It's a great way to meet and work with your fellow club members, and a lot of fun to offer support to those racing — you might even find yourself helplessly saying "Good Job!" Everyone who has volunteered in the past has been a super help — we couldn't do it without you.

Somerville Homeless Coalition 5K Saturday, October 6, 2007
If you can't run the Somerville Homeless Coalition 5K then volunteer! T-shirts and post race brunch for volunteers.
All proceeds from the race benefit the Somerville Homeless Coalition,
an innovative non-profit organization that provides a wide range of
social services to the Somerville area's homeless, near-homeless and
working poor. The Coalition is committed to providing those in need with a
range of services including emergency shelters, permanent housing for formerly
homeless, educational services, food pantry and meal services, and comprehensive case management.
