Red Line to Davis Square. Exit the station to the street via the stairs/escalator in the outbound direction. At the street, take a right, and walk toward the center of the square, past the Somerville Theater. Continue in the direction of traffic, down Elm St. Cross to the side that Mike's Pizza is on. Pass Mike's Pizza on your left. Pass The Burren on your left. Stay to the left at the fork. Pass The Rosebud (diner) on your left. At the corner with the traffic light, you will see the Winter Hill Savings Bank building (with a big scrolling sign atop), with a sign for the George Dilboy VFW Post as well. If front door is not open, walk down the right side of the building, go around back (towards the parking lot), and enter the VFW Post entrance at the rear of the building. Party is on the main floor.
By car:Follow Mass Ave, towards Porter Sq. Pass Porter Sq, and turn right at the next light (Beech St.). At end of Beech St., turn left (Elm St.). When you reach the traffic light, you will need to take a right (Cutter Ave.) Immediately you come to another traffic light. Turn right here (Summer St.) The George Dilboy Post is in the Winter Hill Savings Bank building immediately on your left (with the big scrolling sign atop). Just past the building there is a parking lot on the left, with a sign saying "Dilboy VFW Post member parking only." Park in that lot. Enter the building from the rear, at the Dilboy VFW Post entrance. Party is on the main floor.
From North of Boston (I-93):Take 93S. Take Exit 32, "Medford Sq, Rt. 60". At bottom of ramp, bear right. At 2nd light, bear left. Take next right (onto Rt. 16) heading towards Arlington. Continue, passing Wild Harvest (on your left), U-Haul (on your left), Dilboy Stadium (on your right), until you see Foodmaster on your left. Turn left here, at Broadway. From South of Boston (I-93):Take 93N. Take the exit labeled "Route 16" towards Medford/Arlington. Continue on Rt. 16, passing Wild Harvest (on your left), U-Haul (on your left), Dilboy Stadium (on your right), until you see Foodmaster on your left. Turn left here, at Broadway. From West of Boston (Rt. 2):Take 2 East to Alewife. Take a left onto Route 16 towards Medford/Arlington. Go straight at traffic light at Mass. Ave. The next traffic light is just before a Foodmaster on your right. Turn right at this light, onto Broadway. See "BROADWAY" below for continuation.

Head down Broadway, toward Somerville. Follow to Teele Square. At fork, bear right onto Holland Ave. Follow to Davis Square. After passing Mike's Restaurant (on left), get in left lane. At fork, bear left onto Summer Street. BUT, get in right lane at the traffic light. At the light, you will see Winter Hill Savings Bank to the left. Go straight up Summer Street, and enter the parking lot on the left behind the bank. (Signs say "Dilboy VFW Member parking only". We are using the hall, so it is OK to park there.) Enter the building from the rear, at the Dilboy VFW Post entrance. Party is on the main floor.
