Have been running with an injured right hip since the Milton Jr. Women's Club 10K when I stepped into a depression.... mea culpa.... & felt a sharp pain sooooo could hardly finish that race.... they were ready to send out the Police car!!!!
Thought I could take care of this myself since it really was the first injury I had in the 34 years I have been running — NOT SO — finally decided to visit my MD & NEMA & awaiting results....
CONSEQUENTLY I have not run any races I signed up for in August soooo only 2 races in August.
Guess that's it for now — it's a real bummer for me not to be walking any distance & no running this month, but I am HOPING to run our Founders Day here in Saugus, a 4-miler on Saturday, September 11th...
