Heading for the 25th Suzanne Maria Rossetti Memorial Art Awards held in MacDonald Art Gallery @ College Misericordia, Dallas, PA. with formal opening ceremony at noon, March 4, 2006.

I'll be bringing over 400 cookies made at the Northeast Metro Voc School in Wakefield & Sue & Joe Hand, who originted this marvelous art exhibit for grades 7th thru 12th in all local surrounding towns will also have 3 hugh beautifully decorated cakes — I must say they were all consumed including a large tin of peanuts & several bags of potato chips & endless fruit punch with ice cream plus a few bowls of those snacks...

Last year over 300 folks signed the guest book — I couldnt catch everybody as they entered. It truly is a hugh gathering.

At 4PM we go to the auditorium for the awards presentation. Last year 13 yr. old Laura Lynn Madeira (Sue & Joe's granddaughter) had set up a camera & video of the painting flashed on a really large screen above the stage so the entire audience knew what the particular award was for — oil, pastel, pen & ink, etc.

Many of the teachers from several townships also attend because their art pupils also enter the exhibit,

Daughter Donna Rossetti-Bailey will put on 3 workshops @ King's College — my error 2 R @ Wyomimg Valley Art League... Mea cupla....
