SRR recognized in Boston magazine

January 31, 2012 – Rory Fagan finished first at the annual 5K Tiger Dash held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy in Melbourne Florida. (Finish time: 17:43.2 Pace: 5:43). After the race he gave an interviewer some insight on his SRR training regime.



SRR recognized in Boston magazine

December 28, 2011 – In the January issue of Boston Magazine, on page 55, SRR is one of four running clubs named in Boston's "Casual to Hard-Core Running Clubs." They offer a succinct, accurate description of the club... "Shared Goal: Run for fun, beer, competition or all of the above." The other clubs mentioned are: The Most Informal Running Club Ever, L Street Running Club and Cambridge Running Club. The story highlights that SRR has donated more than $140,000 to local charities since 2005! Kudos to our fabulous race directors!


Robert Cipriano Named NER Athlete of the Month

December 24, 2011 – A big congratulations to Robert Cipriano who really made it happen in 2011 and was named New England Runner Athlete of the Month in the Jan/Feb 2012 issue (page 72). He is the first 50+ athlete ever to crack the Top 5 of the Pub Series in its thirteen year history!!


Sara Radkiewicz - 2011 Richmond Marathon

November 10, 2011 – Sara Radkiewicz ran a fantastic race at the Richmond Marathon this past weekend, completing the course with a net time of 3:32:11. Sara finished 9th in her division and beat her previous PR by over six minutes!
