How long have you been running? Since 8th grade.
What made you decide to begin running? I wanted to make the basketball team in Junior High and you had to run a sub 7 mile. I trained and did achieve that. But I didn't make the basketball team. But I did keep running.
Did you run competitively in high school? Yes — cross country.
Did you run competitively in college? No, I rowed.
When / why did you join SRR? I was ready for a "new" sport after five years of the competitive kiteflying. (Really!)

Favorite race (and why): Reading Showcase 5 Miler. The last mile is downhill. How cool is that?

Best running memory: Checking the results at the '04 Steamer and finding out I placed!
Worst running memory: Really long, hot 10k in North Andover. Bleah!
