When / why did you join SRR? Aug. 2004, to stay in shape and share a beer at Khoury's.

Favorite race (and why): 1996 Marine Corps Marathon had a terrible race but a
lot of fun getting to know people training for it.
Favorite race distance: 5k? Still finding out...
Favorite runner: My mother at 71 is pretty inspiring.
Favorite running shoe: Now trying the New Balance 1122.
Average miles per week: 10 or 15.
Most MPW Ever: 47?
Best running memory: 1995 Marine Corps 10 Miler.
My non-running friend appeared
out of nowhere at the end and we dashed to a photo finish!
Worst running memory: 1996 Marine Corps Marathon about mile 17. Someone was handing
out orange slices as runners went by. She gave the last piece to the guy in front of me.
I can still almost taste that slice!
