How long have you been running? About 10 years.
What made you decide to begin running? After managing the wacky high school cross country team in 8th grade, I realized that running fit my style.
Did you run competitively in high school? Yes and loved every minute of it.
Did you run competitively in college? Nope.
When / why did you join SRR? September, 2003. I was a sub for Lake Winnie Relay and the rest is history.
Total number races: I don't count them, I just run them.
Favorite race (and why): Bay State Marathon, 2002. It was my first marathon and I felt like I was on fire! I obviously didn't run hard enough!
Favorite race distance: 26.2 — yeah, I'm crazy like that.
Favorite runner: Perhaps Jen Toomey, Joe O'Leary and Steve Burton.
Favorite running shoe: Nikes and Mizunos

Best running memory: Finishing my first marathon — enough said.
Worst running memory: The last 2 miles of the Boston Marathon. I felt like I was going to die and didn't think I was going to make it the finish line.
