What made you decide to begin running? Competitively? My second grade gym teacher became the high school cross country coach just before I entered HS, and recruited me for the team.
Did you run competitively in high school? Yep.
Did you run competitively in college? Nope. At first I was recovering from ACL/meniscus tears and surgery, and then I discovered rugby.
When / why did you join SRR? started running Khoury's in December 2001, to keep in shape during the rugby offseason. I joined the club in January 2006 to get into better shape.
Total number races: Since HS, very few, unless Khoury's Thursday night runs count (19 of those). Maybe 15 or so races otherwise.
