How long have you been running? I started in high school.
What made you decide to begin running? I needed to join a sport for college applications. Since I have virtually NO coordination, the only team sport for me was Track and Field.
Did you run competitively in high school? Yes. I started with Tract and Field my freshman year and liked it so much I also joined the Cross Country team the fall of my sophomore year.

When / why did you join SRR? I ran the KhouryÕs Summer Steamer, and noticed all the SRR people seemed to be having a great time AND competitive times! I recently moved to Somerville and was thinking about joiningÉ.then I met Mike Greco at Marathon Sports on Mass Ave in Cambridge Ð he was so nice, I was sold!

Favorite race (and why): Falmouth Road Race. I watched my friend Christy run it in 2006, and decided that I wanted to do it in 2007! I applied to be part of the ChildrenÕs Hospital team, raised money for a great cause, and ran the race! The support and encouragement I received from friends and family as well as total strangers along the race route was really touching! I hope to do it again this year!

Best running memory: Crossing the finish line at Falmouth.
Worst running memory: Pulling over to dry heave on the hill before the finish line in Falmouth. It was seriously hot out there!
