How long have you been running? Since July 2009
What made you decide to begin running? I've been doing yoga for awhile but really needed to fit some cardio into my exercise regimen...but I hate going to the gym! I like running because I can do it on my own time and there are so many people who are really into it.
Did you run competitively in high school? No. I actually dreaded running in high school - it was always a form of punishment in the other sports I played! (tennis and volleyball)
Did you run competitively in college? Only when I was late for class.
When / why did you join SRR? I joined in October 2009 to make running more fun for myself and to meet new people.
Total number races: Three (many more to come!)
Favorite race (and why): None really stand out yet, but I want to do a Ragnar Relay!

Best running memory: When a friend tricked me into running 8 miles along the Charles. I thought we had done 6, which would have been my longest at the time-but when we finished he told me we did 8, and I was super proud of myself.
Worst running memory: The first time I tried running a mile-I didn't make it, and my body hurt for 3 days! Also-any running experience that involves a treadmill!
